Freddie *SPONSORED TRAINING*'s story
Freddie the comeback kid!! This young boy was found in Detroit covered in maggots and bite wounds so severe that the vets were unsure he was going to survive. Freddie had an amazing will to live and fought hard through all the medical obstacles to get where he is now.
After recovering from his physically injuries, Freddie also underwent heartworm treatment and is currently in training to work on his confidence, obedience and manners. He loves everyone he meets and he has sponsored training for his adopters by CCRC approved trainers. This will be discussed further during the adoption process.
We are looking for a very special home for our very special boy. A home without dogs at this time would be ideal for Freddie since he had a very traumatic experience in his life prior to being rescued.
Freddie LOVES toys which includes but not limited to balls, ropes, stuffed toys, squeaker toys etc. He know or to sit and take treats like a pro! He is currently working on settle, come and letsgo.

Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10 day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fee is $200 for adults and $275 for puppies, which covers the cost of the spay/neuter, age appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. The majority of dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers, so there is often very little known about their history or even current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC provides a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, as well as telephone support.
